Registrations for Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) 2023 for admission in BTech and B.Arch across the five Delhi Government funded Institutes / Universities are ongoing and shall close on 25 Jun 2023. The counseling process is being coordinated by NSUT (Netaji Subhash University of Technology).

1. Netaji Subhash University of Technology, Dwarka, New Delhi (3 different campuses in Delhi)

2. Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering), Main Bawana Road, New Delhi

3. Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), Kashmere Gate, Delhi

Please note that in addition to B.Tech and B.Arch, IGDTUW offers a Dual Degree (6 Year) - BTech Mechanical & Automation Engg and MBA with Exit option after 4 years.

4. Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIITD), Okhla Phase III, New Delhi

5. Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (2 campuses in Okhla)

Admission criteria

1. Admission in BTech in NSUT, DTU, IGDTUW, DSEU and dual degree (B.Tech + MBA) in IGDTUW will be on the basis of CRL Rank in JEE-Mains-2023 Paper I

2. Admission in IIITD will be based on percentile score obtained in JEE-Mains-2023 and bonus points (refer chapter 8 of brochure) for achievements in various areas like Olympiads, Programming Contest, National Talent Search, Sports, Culture, Chess, Innovation etc.

Admission in B.Arch Course in NSUT and IGDTUW will be strictly made on Common Rank List (CRL) Rank in JEE (Main) - 2023 Paper-II.

Delhi Region /Outside Delhi Region seats

a) 85% seats are reserved for candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from a School / College / Institution located within the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

b) 15% seats are reserved for candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from a School / College / Institution located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

For a candidate who has passed the qualifying examination through Patrachar Vidyalaya Delhi / National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) Delhi, the criterion for deciding the region shall be the location of his/her centre of examination.

Counseling Dates

(A) Round 1

1. Commencement of online registration and choice filling: 26 May 2023 (8PM)

2. Last date online registration fee payment and choice filling: 25 Jun 2023

Registration for different counseling rounds: The above dates are for first round of counselling. However, if a candidate misses the above deadlines for any reason, she/he may participate in the third counselling round through fresh registration.

However, under no circumstances, the candidate registering in succeeding round can claim for seats already allotted to other candidates in preceding rounds in lieu of her/his merit. Therefore, all interested candidates are advised to register and participate in JAC 2023 counselling from the very beginning, i.e., the above mentioned deadlines.

3. Physical verification of documents CW (Defense) Sub-category priority I to V only, Kashmiri migrants AND Bonus points with reference to IIIT-D: 26 Jun 2023

4. Declaration of First Round seat allotment: 28 Jun 2023 (after 2PM)

5. Physical Reporting after Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee at respective University/Institute for Document Verification (different dates depending on category & JEE rank): 30 Jun to 6 Jul 2023

6. Seat freezing (Online through candidate’s login only): 6 Jul 2023

(B) Round 2

1. Declaration of Second Round seat allotment: 7 Jul 2023 (after 2PM)

2. Physical Reporting after Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee at respective University/Institute for Document Verification (different dates depending on category & JEE rank): 10 to 11 Jul 2023

3. Seat freezing (Online through candidate’s login only): 11 Jul 2023

(C) New registrations after Phase II: 12 to 13 Jul

After Round-2, a two-day window (12 to 13 Jul 2023) will be opened for fresh registrations for those candidates who could not register during first application window.

All candidates who registered in first window will get a chance to modify their Preference of Choices in their respective login. (This is a onetime window, no further fresh application or change in Preference of Choices will be considered after this.

This is not applicable for the candidates who have freeze their allotted branch in Round-1 and 2.

Document verification: Physical verification of documents CW (Defence) Sub-category priority I to V only, Kashmiri migrants AND Bonus points with reference to IIIT-D: 14 Jul 2023.

(D) Round 3

1. Declaration of Third Round seat allotment: 17 Jul 2023 (after 2PM)

2. Physical Reporting after Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee at respective University/Institute for Document Verification (different dates depending on category & JEE rank): 18 to 19 Jul 2023

3. Seat freezing (Online through candidate’s login only): 19 Jul 2023

(E) Round 4

1. Declaration of Fourth Round seat allotment: 21 Jul 2023 (after 2PM)

2. Physical Reporting after Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee at respective University/Institute for Document Verification (different dates depending on category & JEE rank): 24 to 25 Jul 2023

3. Seat freezing (Online through candidate’s login only): 25 Jul 2023

(F) Round 5

1. Declaration of Fifth Round seat allotment: 26 Jul 2023 (after 2PM)

2. Physical Reporting after Payment of Seat Acceptance Fee at respective University/Institute for Document Verification (different dates depending on category & JEE rank): 27 to 28 Jul 2023

3. Seat freezing (Online through candidate’s login only): 28 Jul 2023

(G) SPOT Round (subject to availability of seats)

Display of available vacancies: 1 Aug 2023 (after 3PM)

Physical SPOT Round: 2 to 4 Aug 2023

Physical reporting along with payment of balance fee at the respective University/Institute: Refer the website of respective Institution/University.

How to apply: All candidates desirous of seeking admission to the engineering programs at DTU, IGDTUW, IIIT-D, NSUT and DSEU, and architecture at NSUT and IGDTUW are required to visit website https://jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in/ and fill online registration form, pay a non-refundable registration-cum-counselling fee of Rs.1500/- (plus transactions charges as applicable) and fill the choices.
